      Your Rights

You have so many rights as a young person. Everybody should know what rights they have.

If you want to maybe have someone to sit down and talk to you about the information below.

What are my legal rights as a young person in WA?

To find out what legal rights you have, the Youth Legal Service in Perth has developed fact sheets on a variety of different topics. Some of the areas they cover are:

      • leaving home

      • getting a tattoo

      • age of consent and sexual behaviour

      • terminating a pregnancy

      • school attendance

      • alcohol and cannabis laws

      • hooning laws

      • and more....

To access the fact sheets CLICK HERE.
