What are the types of child abuse that should be defined in a policy?

All of the tpyes of abuse that are listed HERE should be defined in a child protection policy.

The Child Protection Policy should also mention "Historical Abuse". Historical Abuse is where a now adult was abused as a child. Having a policy around Historical Abuse could lead to new child protection cases being opened. If the perpetrator is still in contact with children, it is likely that they are still offending.
