      Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence happens between people who are in a grown-up relationship.

A grown-up relationship can mean that:

      • your mum might be married to your dad

      • your mum might have a boyfriend or special friend that she spends time with

      • your older brother or sister might have a boyfriend or girlfriend

When someone is mean in an grown-up relationship, this is called domestic violence.

If someone is being mean to your mum, or your sister, or brother, that's not right.

It's not your fault or your family's fault.

If you are being hurt too, it's not your fault.

People who are getting hurt should never get in trouble, the people being mean should!

      Remember...Violence is never your fault!

Call these people to get help!
